The application of mask elastic in fixing respiratory mask during daily activities is obvious. Every year many people use respiratory masks to protect their lungs against contaminants and dust in the air, common respiratory diseases like flu and other infectious diseases. Respiratory masks have different types considering application and feature. Face mask or paper mask, medical mask or three-layer mask and filtered mask are among the most common types of this mask.

There are three different ways to fix masks on the face. Using elastic is the most common of all. Based on this method, different types of mask elastic are connected to mask as loop around ear. Although it is recommended to use tissue with mask elastic application in production.

Surgical mask is fabricated from cloth or other materials like polypropylene and medical staff use it to prevent airborne organisms transfer during surgery. This mask has to be thrown away after one consumption and it cannot be washed or recycled. The application of mask elastic in these masks is fixing mask on face and making sure of mask staying on face during use it. Purchasing suitable mask elastic is necessary for this type of mask and elastic tissues have to be used which are produced for mask elastics. Most of surgical masks use three wrinkled pieces to help user spread mask to cover the area from nose to chin.

The Instruments to Produce Medical Mask

Surgical mask is produced from anti-humidity cloth such as polypropylene with three layers which is disposable and is not washable. These masks are simple or folded and they are fixed by different mask elastics around ear and on head. The front area of the mask is flexible and it is adjusted to face form by a fixing spring on the tip of nose. The sewing type in the production of this mask is three-layer and ultrasonic technology or that thermal system with 80°.
